Time to start polishing your broomsticks and dusting your pointy hats, Halloween’s just round the corner. Heaps of candy, dressing up in costumes and scaring each other silly – whats not to love?! Its no wonder kids in Bangalore have rapidly adopted Halloween as their favourite time of the year, and since we already celebrate 137 festivals, whats one more???
Our friends, the super-organised ladies behind CHAOS had exactly the same thoughts and have put together the biggest Halloween gig in Bangalore – Slaughterville: The Halloween Carnival. It promises to be so much fun that mummyknowsbest is helping them out, just so we can hang out there the whole day. (in our witch hats!)
Scary activities include scaling a twenty foot wall, braving a haunted maze, sitting huddled listening to ghost stories, learning a witch dance and some spooky science experiments. For the littler ones
who’d prefer things more mellow, there’s a petting zoo with lots of cuddly animals, craft activities, halloween themed carnival games, puppet show, spray on tattoos and a trick or treat stall with lots of goodies. While the kids are are getting their thrills, moms, dads and grandparents can browse through the bazaar set up all around Slaughterville.
So wear your scariest faces, dress up in your ghouliest robes and glide on over on October 30th. Hope to see all of you there!
