They give you new ways to look at everyday things. Here’s me sharing one of them with you…how to re-use an old CD.

You’ll need:

  • Some black chart paper
  • A small scrap of orange paper
  • Fevicol
  • A ?CD that you don’t want to use anymore
  1. Cut eight strips of black chart paper about six inches long and 3/4th inch wide. Fold each strip over and under like a fan. These are the spider?s legs.
  2. Cut a circle from the black chart paper the size of the CD. Snip four slits ? inch apart on one edge of the circle. Fold the two alternate slits such that they are standing above the circle.
  3. Cut two semicircles from the orange scrap of paper. Draw two eyes on it.
  4. Paste these two semicircles on the standing slits on the circle. These are the spider?s eyes.
  5. Now staple/stick the eight legs on the circle?s sides.
  6. Stick the spider on the label side of the CD.
  7. Make a hole in the centre. String it and see your incy wincy spider climb the water spout!
